Our client’s challenge

Everyday Agile is a UK based Agile Consultancy headed up by founder Jac Hughes. They work with teams and individuals from a range of industries, providing a unique and personal service that is tailored specifically to their needs. Specialities include Agile Coaching;  Agile Consultancy; Agile Training; Product Development & UX/UI Design.

This growing business wanted to simplify how they communicate what they do in an engaging and unique way. It was time to move away from the text heavy descriptions and create something which would capture attention and improve their website’s home page, their ‘Shop Window’.

Our solution and results

Working in partnership with LeoDo we worked with Everyday Agile to create a Hand Drawn Explainer Video. We felt that creating a 2-3 minute engaging video, that would be a whistle stop tour of the services on offer would be a perfect way to improve messaging and a great asset to have on a website landing page.

This illustrated animation provides a continuous drawing which transitions from frame to frame, with a voice over narration to work in tandem with the drawings. It’s a process we turned around quickly, keeping Everyday Agile involved throughout to ensure the messages we were communicating were right on point!

  1. Create the script – This part of the process can be led by the client, led by us, or a mixture of the two. It’s a fundamental part of the process as it enables the storyboard to be illustrated and provides the narrative for our panel of professional voice over artists. For this project, we worked alongside Everyday Agile to create the script utilising our bespoke template designed specifically to help tell a story.
  2. Create a visual story board for approval – Once we’d clarified the script, we worked with Everyday Agile to create a visual storyboard that represented the key messages to be communicated.
  3. Animate and add narration to the video – Once the storyboard is signed-off, we pulled together the animated frames into a complete animation. At the same time we added a professional narrated voice-over with a style of voice that Everyday Agile had chosen from our range of artists. Finally, we sent a copy of the final video for approval prior to providing the video in the format they required for sharing/hosting.
